Great Freestyle Pics & Words To The Freestyle Universe - Club Freestyle

Happy Holidays Freestyle people everywhere! I am Swins A. Fontenelle II of the Facebook group: Freestyle Universe (that has grown to be more than just a Facebook group) and I once more come to you with the Freestyle word and of course pictures of the Freestyle folks! My picture share this week includes pictures of Mic Mac recording artist: Angie, singer of the fantastic track: “Kiss Me Touch Me” and I also have Coro! Both of these artists braved the cold Friday to perform for their loyal fans at Sidetracks “Home of Freestyle Fridays” in Sunnyside, Queens (45-08 Queens Blvd @ 46th St.). It’s very exciting and Freestyle Universe plans to be all over it and putting out as much info. as possible. I hope that if you’re on Facebook you will join us and help us continue to support all of our Freestyle websites, Internet radio stations, artists, labels and venues.

For this one time I would like to change the topic just a little bit and address a few things. I know that if you are on more than one freestyle website you will be seeing the same message by me in my ongoing attempt to get the word out all over. Some of you may feel that I do not spend enough time at each individual site, or on myspace, migente.com and a host of other internet media forms. I do apologize for the fact that my time is very crammed but I assure you that it isn’t due to lack of love or support for any of you. I support and promote “all” positive forms of Freestyle media and all of my Freestyle people as well. I do have a full-time job, an active social life and in all of my spare time I am trying to bring our community together and expand it. I am a partner in Honor Roll Freestyle Fridays at Sidetracks yet I promote and support all the other venues as well (across the country as well as in New York). All that I do I have had to do on my own and there’s a lot to cover for one person. At any rate my intentions are good and although I’m sure that this will not satisfy everyone out there I hope that the majority of you realize this. I only have love for all that is Freestyle.

Moving on; some of you may have heard a lot of talk of a David Owens from North Carolina – the devoted Freestyle fan that recently (Friday, December 18th) had a severe head injury and has a 0 to 1 percent chance of living. Most of the facts are second-hand but as he was my friend and the people around him right now have been in contact with me; I feel that I have a good idea of what occurred during his visit to Philadelphia (he attended the Tazmania Records Winter Freestyle Concert). He fell and the impact was so hard that he ended up having two brain surgeries. At any rate, I have seen a lot of posts up about how I have been holding it up and there have been a number of questions. I have made my official statement on Freestyle Universe in the discussion section of the group for all to view. The gist of it is that I am fine and I’d prefer the focus to be on Mr. Owens’s family.

Well this will probably be it for 2009 but I promise to be back in 2010 showing my love for the whole Freestyle Universe! Happy New Year’s!

God I feel sad for whoever listened to him freestyle for 9 hours. Respect to him, but after ten minutes, I would have had enough of listening to him.
